A website build sprint, or a contract-review package
Trade your team's spare capacity for the services you would otherwise pay for.
Servicely matches Saudi firms in equal-value loops. You issue a voucher for your own services and receive one of the same value from another member. Nobody haggles over what their work is worth.
Open to professional-service firms and freelancers with a freelance work document.
Why barter?

A swap from start to finish
How a swap works
Every exchange is a closed loop of two to four firms at one voucher size. It only goes live once every firm in it has accepted.
Three voucher sizes. Nothing to negotiate.
A voucher is your firm's commitment to deliver services worth its face value at your normal cash prices. Fixed sizes make every exchange equal by design.
A month of bookkeeping, or a recruitment shortlist
A day of meeting rooms, or a contract translation
Vouchers are valid for 12 months, redeemable only with the firm that issued them, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
What you pay in cash
Barter is a taxable supply in Saudi Arabia, so it is never entirely cash-free. Here is everything that is paid in riyals.
Servicely produces the tax-invoice records for each side of every redemption, so your accountant is not rebuilding them from emails.

Built for firms that need records, not promises
Verified members
Every firm is checked against its commercial registration and VAT number before it can trade.
Issuing limits
Each member has a cap on outstanding vouchers, so nobody promises more capacity than it has.
Tamper-evident ledger
Every proposal, acceptance and redemption is recorded in a log where each entry is chained to the one before.
Dispute handling
If delivery is contested, the voucher is frozen and the Servicely team resolves it with both firms.
Clear terms on every voucher
Optional legal support
Designed around Islamic transaction principles
Tax, made clear

Firms and freelancers, in any combination
Establishments join with their commercial registration and freelancers with their freelance work document. Anyone can trade with anyone.
| Supplier / Receiver | Establishment | Freelancer |
|---|---|---|
| Establishment | B2BA law firm reviews a software house's contracts. | B2FA co-working space gives a freelance designer a desk for a month. |
| Freelancer | F2BA freelance translator localises an agency's campaign. | F2FA freelance developer builds a freelance photographer's portfolio site. |
When a VAT-registered supplier serves a member who is not registered, that VAT cannot be recovered. We flag those loops before anyone accepts.

Questions members ask
Is a voucher money?
No. It is the issuing member's commitment to deliver its own services up to the face value. It cannot be cashed, and it can only be used with the member that issued it.
Who can join?
Establishments with a valid commercial registration, and Saudi freelancers with a valid freelance work document. We check every application before trading starts.
What if the member I need does not need what I offer?
That is what loops are for. The matching engine links up to four members so each one's need is met by someone else's offer, all at the same voucher size.
Do I pay VAT on a barter?
Yes, if your supplier is VAT-registered. Barter is a taxable supply at the voucher's face value, so 15% VAT is paid in cash. If you are registered too, you recover it as input VAT.
What does it cost?
Membership is 2,400 riyals a year. When you redeem a voucher you pay a 7% exchange fee plus VAT on that fee. There are no other charges.
How are prices kept fair?
Every member lists a reference to its normal cash price and must honour vouchers at those prices. Issuing limits stop anyone promising more work than they can deliver.
What if the work is not delivered properly?
Open a dispute before you confirm receipt. The voucher is frozen and the Servicely team reviews it with both members, then returns the voucher or closes it.
How long is a voucher valid?
Twelve months from issue. Request the service before then; an unused voucher lapses when it expires.
Can I give my voucher to someone else?
No. Vouchers cannot be transferred, sold or pledged. They are redeemed only by the member that holds them, with the member that issued them.
